How long does it take for you to fulfill orders?
It depends ! Custom orders can take up to 6 weeks, but I’ll announce ready-to-ship-drops of bootstraps, chokers and keyholders on a regular basis. Make sure to follow Dirty Löve Leather on instagram for further information.
Do you offer vegan leather options as well?
To make it short: No, I do not offer vegan leather options. Unfortunately, vegan “leather” is made out of plastic and does not provide the same durability and quality as genuine leather does. I want my creations to last and to be as eco-friendly as possible, so I decided to offer genuine leather products only.
I have great respect for animals as well as for veganism and vegetarism, but I also want to create slow and sustainable fashion of the highest possible quality. The only way I can guarantee this is using genuine leather. If taken good care of, it will last a lifetime.
What materials do you use ?
I use both cow and buffalo leather from a small local tannery which produces leather under fair conditions for both workers and animals. All materials are vegetable tanned and dyed to minimize the risk of skin irritation or allergical reactions. My conchos are made of a metal-alloy.
